I initially put together this outfit because I wanted to feel slightly wood nymph-y, but something about it felt wrong, felt off, felt like it wasn't an accurate reflection of who I was that day. I believe that style is a but an instant snapshot of who you are at that moment. It's a Polaroid of everything that comprises you as a living, breathing person, and that person can change from minute to minute, day to day. That constant evolution is one of the most precious things about being human.
So I went inside to change.

either way it looks good, thing i do like the second one more though. the fits seem to work better
Love both. You look amazing. I also do not share the secrets of where my thrift stores are, espesh since I live in a college town where it is ridiculously cool to shop at thrifts, and all of ours are insanely picked over.

Both outfits look stunning but I'm glad you posted this. I've also had days where I wear something but in that moment, it doesn't feel right so I HAVE to change. Once, when I was going to Uni, I happened to be wearing black rainbow sparkling tights. While I was on the train, I realised that I didn't feel like drawing SO much attention to myself, and I felt very uncomfortable all of a sudden. As soon as I got off the train, I walked straight to coles (a huge supermarket chain here) and bought myself a pair of opaque, plain, black tights. I changed into them and felt much better.

Ok, I totall know what you mean with outfits feeling "off" sometimes. The second outfit just seems WAY more "you" and you even look happier and more comfortable. Clothes are the best.
