It's really interesting that paisley has a history for you. I like that. Clothes with a past, or an association.

It is also of course a lovely outfit. Is your hair asymmetrical?

@hvit thanks! fashion is meaningless in my opinion, without any connection to the personal or the political (or both). yes my hair is asymmetrical!

Wow, the way you described how the paisley print related to your life at the time sounded so eloquent. Actually, you write really well in general. I never had a paisley moment myself, I always associated it with hippies and for some reason, I've always had an aversion to hippie style =/

I was agonizing over what to comment only to discover, in the meantime you'd commented on my blog. I love your Fever Ray shirt and the story that accompanies it. Also, turns out most of my wardrobe is black and blue.
